Loose Stone

A single stone has slipped from the wall.

The wall still stands, yet it quietly reminds us that strength is not the absence of weakness. It is the patient work of repair.

So too with our own lives. We rarely fall all at once. More often, it is one small stone at a time, until someone notices, stoops, and begins the work of restoration.
