It would have been easy to walk past without seeing it. The woodland floor is full of leaves, stems, fading flowers and seed heads. Yet among them, one small bloom quietly opens itself to the day.
Much of life is like this. We often search for beauty in grand places while overlooking the gifts waiting beside the path. Paying attention is less about finding something extraordinary than learning to notice what has been there all along.
Perhaps faith begins in the same way: not by seeing more, but by seeing more carefully. The quiet things of God rarely compete for our attention. They simply wait to be found.
