Colour at the Turning

Clusters of vivid pink, star-shaped flowers above reddish stems and broad green leaves, with darker fading flower heads and soil beneath.

In Monasterevin Park, deep pink flowers gather in dense clusters above thick stems. Some heads remain bright; others have begun to darken. Beneath them, the leaves bear brown edges and the marks of the passing season.

Autumn comes unevenly. Colour lingers beside what is already fading, and a single plant can hold both abundance and decline.

There is grace in looking closely enough to receive both. These flowers offer their colour among the worn leaves, giving us something to pause beside as the year turns.
