Thirty Years Later

Clusters of deep pink-red valerian flowers growing beside a roadside bank in Ballymena, with green foliage filling the background.

Some journeys become so familiar that we scarcely notice them. Yet every return is different. Thirty years after leaving school, both seemed to have something to say about time, memory, and the quiet persistence of life.
