Passing Through

Stone arches frame one another across the monastic site, drawing the eye deeper into the landscape. As a visitor passes through the distant opening, the ancient ruins become more than monuments to the past. They remain places of passage, where generations continue to walk the paths first travelled by pilgrims centuries ago.
